Summary

Neil is a board director, consultant and climatologist. He revels in opportunities to work with boards and senior managers to improve governance, strategies and to make the most of economic, social, and environmental transition opportunities. Neil supports organisations to navigate the clean energy transition and to avoid costly climate risk exposure. He is a former leader of Climate Services in the Australian Bureau of Meteorology and has collaborated, with SPREP and several National Meteorological & Hydrological Services, on Pacific Island climate services for more than a decade. He also facilitates training on strategy, leadership, governance and business planning for government agencies, businesses and not-for-profits. In 2020 Neil became a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company of Directors and, in 2019, his climate services expertise was recognised with a Pacific Meteorological Council Lifetime award.
